This is a Unique portal for Professors, Teachers, Assistant Professors, Director etc.
There is need for a system where a teacher is identified by numbers of years of experience, as is done in other services. The National Education Council proposes to register teachers in terms of their experience. Once registered they will be given a membership certificate according to their qualification and Degrees information uploaded online.( Copies of degree not required). Members are authorized to place after their names Member National Indian Education Services Council (IES) with year of start of service.
The teachers, professors, Vice Chancellors in India serve for several years and they are most important stakeholders in society as they impart education, knowledge to students. That is why they are called Guru. In ancient Indian days they were called Acharaya. The Guru has highest value in society. Even kings would bow to Guru.
In present days, the teachers are just teachers and hardly get value as most respected in society. Also all teachers are placed on same platform irrespective of their experience and qualifications, except designate as Professor at certain level. There again all Professors are at same level.
Surprisingly during British Raj between 1896 and 1924, the teachers in India were recognized as members of The Indian Education Service or Indian Educational Service . The recruitment of teachers were stopped in 1924, hence service discontinued. It was an administrative organization running educational establishments in British India, largely staffed by Europeans. It replaced a previous system of provincial administrations by a uniform all-India service.
The British era IES was formed based on the recommendations of the 1886 Public Service Commission, as part of the Superior Education Service, which comprised also the Provincial Education Service. In practice the then IES was mostly British, and the Provincial Education Service was staffed by Indians, with substantial differentials of pay between the services. As a delayed consequence of the Islington Commission of 1912 on public services in India, the existing distinction between the IES and Provincial Education Service officials began to be dismantled in the early 1920s.
The initiative taken by National Indian Education Services Council is a step towards self pride of India and Indians aimed to bring back glory of Nalanda,Takshila days for our beloved India.
